Student accomodation in Stockholm

Most exchange students who come to Stockholm can get help in finding accomodation from their university college or university. If you do not come as an exchange student, you will have to find your own accomodation.

If you need to find student accomodation on your own, it is important to start well in advance. A good start is to get in line straight away at any of the accomodation agencies.

Different kinds of accomodation
The most common kind of accomodation in Stockholm is to rent a student room or student flat. The standard is very high.

If you choose to live in a student room in a corridor, you will have your own room and bathroom but will share a kitchen with other students. Living in a corridor is usually appreciated among international students since it is a good way of getting into student life. But some students instead choose to live in a student flat with its own kitchenette or kitchen in order to be entirely independent.

The prices of student accomodation span from about 2 500 SEK for a student room to about 5 500 SEK for certain student flats.

You will find contact details and information about some of the Stockholm based accomodation agencies on this site. Take a look in the top menu, or click on the link below.
