There are 21 university colleges and universities in Stockholm - from technical university colleges and university colleges of nursing to universities/university colleges in the humanities, law, economics or art. 19 of them are members of Stockholms Akademiska Forum and are presented here. The universities and university colleges in Stockholm are internationally strong trade marks, such as Karolinska Institutet, Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm School of Economics, with educations at a high international level.

All university colleges and universities have their own campus which offers a pleasant daily life for you as a student. Besides libraries and bookshops, many universities and university colleges have coffee shops, restaurants, news-stands and sport centres. Student unions also have their premises on campus where they organise seminars, debates and pubs for you as a student.
